Dr. Abby O’Connor, Associate Professor of Chemistry at The College of New Jersey, was recently featured on the American Chemical Society blog ACS Axial. The blog post profiles Dr. O’Connor’s work with undergraduates in her research lab, and is a testament to her research and mentoring. The post also highlights Dr. O’Connor’s recent paper, “Base-Free Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones Using Cp*Ir(pyridinesulfonamide)Cl Precatalysts,” which was published with undergraduate authors. Her paper was featured in a special virtual issue of Organometallics that featured 24 papers from groups at primarily undergraduate institutions.
