Congratulations to TCNJ’s newest inductees of Gamma Sigma Epsilon, The National Chemistry Honor Society! On Monday, November 18th, TCNJ’s Sigma Beta Chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon welcomed their new inductees. The ceremony was conducted by the current student executive board and was followed by a celebration with invited family, friends, and faculty.
Gamma Sigma Epsilon was founded in 1919 at Davidson College and was created to promote academic excellence and undergraduate research scholarship in Chemistry. The TCNJ chapter actively serves the Chemistry Department by providing drop-in tutoring, organizing student mentors for Chemistry underclassmen, and volunteering at Lion’s Day Open Houses. Students inducted at TCNJ must have completed Quantum Chemistry and attained at least a 3.5 in their Chemistry coursework.
