Seniors Rebecca Goncalves and Mattheus De Souza were invited to attend an undergraduate workshop in Physical Chemistry at the Fall 2017 National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Washington, D.C., and junior Kristen Vogt was invited to attend an undergraduate workshop in Computational Chemistry at the Spring 2018 National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in New Orleans, LA. Goncalves, De Souza, and Vogt work in the research group of Dr. Joseph Baker where they use methods in computational chemistry to investigate biomolecular systems such as bacterial filaments, biomembranes, and ionic liquids.
