Two TCNJ senior chemistry students recently attended the Gamma Sigma Epsilon National Chemistry Honor Society 47th Biennial Convention hosted by Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY. Rebecca Goncalves (Treasurer) and Justin Steets (President) are both serving members of TCNJ’s Sigma Beta Chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon. At the Convention, they had the opportunity to present posters on their research done at TCNJ and won awards for presenting! They also saw the beautiful Niagara Falls in a boat excursion on the Niagara River organized by the Convention.
The GSE chapter at TCNJ avidly serves the Chemistry Department by providing drop-in tutoring, organizing a mentorship program for first-year students, and by holding various fundraisers.
