Last week marked the end of a chapter for the Science Complex and the beginning of a new phase for Chemistry. As part of Phase I of the STEM Complex Construction, the structure– fondly referred to as “the bridge”– that connected Chemistry and Biology buildings was torn down to make room for a new STEM addition. While construction is underway, entrances to the chemistry and biology buildings from the quad closest to Metzger Drive are closed. Science Complex Chemistry will remain open during construction while building crews work to create a new two story structure that will house organic and upper level chemistry teaching laboratories.
