During the summer of 2009, 87 students and 44 faculty members participated in TCNJ’s Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience, or MUSE program. Five of the biology and chemistry students who participated in the MUSE program were supported by a grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb. In particular, the collaborative undergraduate research project that was conducted by Junior chemistry major Devon Cocuzza, along his faculty mentor Dr. Heba Abourahma, was recently featured on the Bristol-Myers Squibb Website in a feature article titled “Summer College Program Offers Uncommon Learning Experience for Undergrads.”
